Considered something of a hybrid between a saucepan and a sauté, the shape of this fait tout ( "does it all") allows one to more easily make a sauce, as the angled side allows a whisk to contact more surface area inside the pan. This heavy piece is stamped by the maker Molloff Ft, and dates from the early to mid 1900s.
