Antique French Consommé Pot

Rare Form!  This tall stockpot would have sat continuously on a hot stove, and boiled all manner of vegetable and meat scraps into a broth, which would have been drawn off via a brass spigot originally attached near the bottom.  

This piece features some beautiful brass welded construction...a sign it was hand made by a skilled artisan.

As always, completely refurbished and relined with 99.99% food-safe Tin.
