19th Century French Consommé Pot

Rare Form!  This tall stockpot would have sat continuously on a hot stove, and boiled all manner of vegetable and meat scraps into a broth, which would have been drawn off via a brass spigot originally attached near the bottom.  

A beautifully made and fully restored French stockpot dating to the 1880s.  Velvety bronze, subtle hand hammered copper, and brass welded seams harken a time when things were made by hand.  A lovely example of legacy cookware.

As always, completely refurbished and relined with 99.99% food-safe Tin.
