This entirely hand-hammered and assembled chiller dates to the late 18th to early 19th century, and was an item of high status. It is most probably one-of-a-kind... commissioned from a master chaudronnerie (coppersmith) for a ducal chateau somewhere in the Loire Valley. Generously sized yet beautifully delicate.
